What does Elephant House actually do with my property?
We operate it end to end — listing it, taking bookings, staffing it, cleaning it, handling maintenance and dealing with guests. You receive income without doing any of the landlord work.
What kind of property suits the model?
Anything from a 6-bed flat to a standalone villa. What matters more than size is the neighbourhood: we look for walkability, transport and somewhere people actually want to be.
How long is the commitment?
Typically a multi-year operating agreement, because fitting out a house properly takes time to pay back. The exact term depends on the condition of the property and how much work it needs.
Do you take properties outside your current cities?
Yes. We are in Pune, Lonavala and Nashik today, and actively looking at new cities. Tell us where it is and we will say honestly whether it fits.
